Tampa Trolley

The TECO Line Streetcar System (Tampa Trolley) is a 2.7-mile, air-conditioned, electric streetcar line connecting downtown, the Channel District, and Ybor City. The best part? It’s free.

If you want to take in more than one site in the downtown area but don’t want to drive from parking garage to parking garage, or worse, walk for miles, this is ideal. You can use it to access other transportation options like HART bus routes, the Downtowner (a water ride service hailed like a taxi or requested through an app), Pirate Water Taxi (water transportation for chartered events) and the Tampa Riverwalk (a 2.6-mile walk along the Hillsborough River that starts at Sparkman Wharf and ends at Heights Market at Armature Works).

The trolley has 11 stops. You could easily plan an entire day of sightseeing and dining around the trolley stops. And if you’re coming to Tampa as a tourist, there are also hotels along the stops.
